Places Where No One has Tied the Knot Before

Every girl has their own dream wedding, may it be church wedding, garden wedding or a beach wedding, and it's up to you guys to make it happen. Every single detail of the wedding is carefully planned by girls since they were little. Everything was foreseen inside their heads from the ceremony down to the littlest things like how the napkins should be folded. I even started fantasizing about my wedding when I was eight. Now that we're all grown ups, we are still wishing to have a Perfect Wedding; either we stick to our original plan or swerve a little bit to make it different. We ladies always want to make it unique from others we've seen, creating a more memorable moment.

I have come up with some ideas where a wedding has not been done before. Call me crazy but I want to be different.

??? Sacred Valley

My family and I went to Peru last year, and we got to see Sacred Valley of the Incas. They also call it Urubamba Valley or the El Valle Sagrado de los Incas. The Incas called it Sacred Valley because they considered it as paradise on earth for its sunny weather, fertile earth, and rolling rivers.

The ancient ruins, gentle mountain slopes, and scattered farming towns define the valley. I was so overwhelmed with the scenery; and when I got to the Temple of the Moon and Huayna Picchu, I instantly fell in love with the place. And BAM! Ideas were running through my head right and left, a few flowers here and there, a little bit of designing and it will be a perfect place to have a wedding.

You might be thinking where you can spend the night after the ceremony. Don't fear, the Historic Hotel Monasterio is just right by Cusco.

??? Ozark Caves

Found in North Arkansas, in this cave you'll experience adventure, view fossil remains of creatures from the past, and see beautiful calcite formations. Its uniqueness brings out an exceptional feeling of inspiration and admiration. No need for any decorations, the crystal domed ceiling of the cave makes the magic happen.

??? Australia's Tropical Rainforest

The most ecologically fascinating natural areas in the world and it remain as one of the few truly pristine tropical rainforest. The forest has an amazing array and diversity of flora and fauna. This is best for people who love nature, getting married in this place makes you feel like you are one of the nymphs who protects the beauty of the forest.

??? Cosig??ina Volcano Crater

It is located in the Northwestern corner of Nicaragua, it takes to get there but it's all worth it. This is the most spectacular volcano in Nicaragua. The crater contains a beautiful lagoon. The fact that the volcano has been dormant for quite sometime now, it still excites me to think that while we're getting married the volcano might become active.

??? Skywalk Grand Canyon

An unusual way of seeing the beauty of Grand Canyon while standing in a clear glass was very incredible. I've heard of people getting married in Grand Canyon but I haven't seen or heard a wedding done in Skywalk.

Both you and your groom walking from each end of the Skywalk and meeting in the middle will be truly very romantic and different since the scenery is truly breath taking.

The Hualapai Native American Tribe who operates Skywalk offers facilities where you can have special events such as wedding receptions.

??? Mountain-top of California's Sierra Nevada Mountains

You can set a spectacular location at the midst of the high mountain peaks. With the amazing beaut of gleaming Lake Tahoe right in front of you. Imagine yourself standing on a breezy mountain top sundeck or grassy piazza at the brim of a high summit hill overlooking the mountains. That's a one of a kind wedding I tell you.

Then you can enjoy a relaxing retreat in the resort at Squaw Creek after your big day.

??? Pigeon Point Lighthouse

One of the tallest lighthouses in America, and it has been guiding mariners since 1872. It was originally known as Punta de las Balenas or Whale Point. The beautiful light that exudes from the lighthouse is the first light to be seen after sunset. It enlightens the whole area making it very fascinating.

??? Tree Tops in Buttala, Sri Lanka

I saw jungle lodge tree tops located in the town of Buttala in Sri Lanka. Bush-jungle surrounds the tree-top and a different patch of mature dry zone tall tropical forest. The amazing moon light gliding the landscape during the night is exceptionally magnificent giving an exquisite wedding.

??? Vineyard by Paso Robles in California

The cluster of pink blossoms from pervasive trees that shows a hill-like cotton candy will surely capture your heart, as it did with me. A grapevine flows neatly from the entrance, a waterfall cascading down the rocky slopes, swans gliding side by side with each other bringing an enchanting grace, and flowering mimosa, sycamores and weeping willows provides a romantic mood. These atmospheres entice you and your groom fall in love even more.

There are actually lots of ideas you can do to make your wedding unique. Besides from the places I mentioned above, maybe you can get married at sea while aboard in a Yacht. How about an underwater wedding by scuba diving or snorkeling, and for the adventurous ones, maybe you can wed while skydiving. It basically depends on your own thinking and where you think you'd be happy getting tied up with the person you love. So where ever will it be, just enjoy!
